Hey I’m Lauren, I am one of the founders and formulators at All You. Creating All You came from my love of nature and natural ingredients as well as the personal journey I went on to embrace my natural hair and the huge learning curve that came along with that!
The key part of my journey was understanding what products to use, how to care for my hair as well as the unconscious impact the lack of knowledge and understanding had on me and how I chose to present myself to the world. This was something I quickly realised I was not alone in and wanted to make a change.
After spending lots of time researching ingredients in the product on the market I was shocked with what I found and dug deep into the impact as well as the reasons behind why each ingredient is used in a product. This helped when developing our products, as I was able to select each ingredient not only for its ability to hydrate, strengthen, and define curls but also for its benefits to the scalp and skin, avoiding ingredients that might cause irritation and breakouts. Instead, I was able to focus on gentle, natural components that respect your skin as much as your curls.
When creating All You we knew that caring for our hair requires more than just products, it’s about embracing the natural beauty of each curl, coil, and wave while prioritising the health and wellness of our hair, scalp, and skin. So we set out to create an effective hair care solution that nourishes and protects hair without compromising your skin and overall well-being.
